Siesta Key Public Beach, winner of the “World’s Finest, Whitest Sand” in the Great International White Sand Beach Challenge, is only a short ride from our downtown Sarasota Florida Hyatt. Locals take great pride in the beauty of Siesta Key’s sand, claiming it has a magical quality. As you bask in the hot sun, the sand feels cool to the touch – perfect for building sandcastles and playing beach volleyball. The beach also provides tennis, softball, food concessions and year-round lifeguards.
Lido Public Beach offers a similar postcard setting and soft white sands. Our complimentary Hyatt shuttle provides rides daily to and from Lido Public Beach, where you can soak up rays and splash in the water. Then take a short walk to St. Armands Circle to shop in upscale boutiques, art galleries and souvenir shops or dine in an array of restaurants. The beach also offers a free parking lot, restrooms, an observation deck, gift shop, lifeguards and a concession building with covered tables. Beach chairs and cabanas are available for daily rental.
